  • An optional paid Extended Support Plan (ESP) will be available for the twelve months between those two dates.

Support continues on your existing terms until 31 December 2027. This notice gives 15 months' advance notice of that date and 27 months' notice until final end of life (EOL).

What happens until 31 December 2027

Nothing changes. Your support entitlement continues on its current terms — support portal access, fixpack downloads, security patches and critical P1 defect fixes.

As is already the case, our development efforts are directed at the current generation Apliqo UX product based on the ReactJS + NestJS + Nginx platform. No feature updates are planned for Legacy Apliqo UX.

We will keep Legacy Apliqo UX on a vendor-supported runtime throughout the standard support period, and for customers who enrol — throughout the additional 12 month Extended Support period.

Why we are retiring the product

This is a commercial decision by Apliqo. Legacy Apliqo UX has been superseded by the current Apliqo UX, which had its first release in January 2025. Maintaining two generations of the product divides our engineering effort and slows delivery. The technology stack Legacy Apliqo UX is built on is also approaching the end of its supported life, on timelines we have no control over.

Rather than rebuild a superseded product on newer foundations — which would deliver no new capability — we are retiring it. This will allow us to focus on the current Apliqo UX.

What we recommend

Migrate to the current generation Apliqo UX before 31 December 2027.

The current product is the direct successor to Legacy Apliqo UX and carries all capabilities forward, plus many new features not present in the legacy product. Your implementation partner can arrange a migration assessment and provide you a scoped plan.

Extended Support: 1 January 2028 – 31 December 2028

For customers who cannot complete migration by 31 December 2027, Apliqo will offer a paid Extended Support Plan (ESP). It is a bridge to give you time to finish migrating, not a way to stay on the product indefinitely.

Term: a single period of twelve months, 1 January to 31 December 2028. It is not sold in shorter increments, it is not renewable, and it cannot be extended beyond 31 December 2028.

Price: 2 times your standard annual maintenance subscription fee.

Included

  • Security fixes for Critical and High severity defects in Apliqo code (CVSS base score 7.0 or above)

  • Security patching of the underlying runtime

  • Fixes for Priority 1 defects that cause loss of production service where no workaround exists

  • Support desk access and break/fix support against the latest 2024.09 fix pack release available as of December 31 2027 (the supported frozen configuration for Extended Support)

  • Access to the knowledge base and the existing patch history

Not included

  • New features, enhancements and change requests

  • Non-security defect fixes below Priority 1

  • Certification against any new platform version — including new IBM Planning Analytics releases, operating systems, browsers, database versions and Java versions

  • New integrations or interfaces

  • Performance tuning, configuration consulting and root-cause analysis

  • Migration assistance, which is available as professional services by our implementation partners

Conditions

  • Your configuration is frozen at one certified build for the duration. Changes you make to the runtime, application server, JVM or third-party libraries fall outside cover for the affected component

  • Extended Support attaches to an active standard support entitlement held immediately before 31 December 2027. It is not available to customers whose support has lapsed, and it cannot be rejoined once lapsed

  • Enrolment closes 31 December 2027. Enrolment after 1 January 2028 is not possible; where enrolment is agreed late within the window, the full period is charged from 1 January 2028

  • A migration plan with dated milestones, reviewed quarterly with Apliqo and your local implementation partner

  • We commit to a response time. We do not commit to the availability of a fix for any given vulnerability in a component we do not control

To enrol, or to discuss whether you need to, contact Apliqo before 31 December 2027.

After 31 December 2028

The software does not stop working. Your licence terms continue to apply, and installed systems will keep running.

What ends is Apliqo's involvement as independent software vendor (no support, no patches, no fixes.) Any decision to continue running Legacy Apliqo UX after this date is yours, and the risk of doing so rests with you.
